DevOps Engineer
Position Description
Employees in this role are responsible for building, testing, maintaining, and optimizing the infrastructure and tools that support software/code development, deployment, and release processes. This position plays a key role in accelerating and automating the software development lifecycle through the implementation of DevOps methodologies, practices, and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Adopt and promote DevOps methodologies and best practices across the product lifecycle for various software components.
- Accelerate software releases while ensuring security, stability, and mitigation of risks associated with failed or recalled software releases.
- Improve cycle times between end-user feedback and software updates by leveraging:
- Continuous Integration (CI)
- Continuous Deployment (CD)
- Continuous Feedback
- Assess existing systems and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing enhancements.
- Utilize enterprise platforms, tools, and infrastructure to drive DevOps strategies and solutions.
- Support software releases and deployments across various environments, including:
- Production
- Testing
- Sandbox
- Identify, develop, and lead automation and innovation initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle.
