We are seeking a Warranty Data Administration Analyst to support warranty operations through data analysis, technical investigation, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. This role combines warranty claim administration with analytical problem-solving and offers the opportunity to work closely with engineering, service, quality, and supplier teams to improve product performance and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Warranty Administration & Analysis
- Process and evaluate warranty claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Analyze warranty trends, claim activity, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop reports and dashboards that measure warranty performance and business outcomes.
- Monitor warranty spending and provide insights into claim trends and operational efficiencies.
Technical Investigation & Support
- Assist with the analysis of technical warranty issues by reviewing service documentation, diagnostic information, repair records, and product design details.
- Support failure investigations through examination and testing of failed mechanical components and systems.
- Collaborate with service, engineering, quality, and supplier teams to determine root causes and corrective actions.
- Participate in onsite inspections and technical reviews with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with warranty appeals and responsibility assignments.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Utilize analytical tools to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities within warranty and operational data.
- Create dashboards, visualizations, and reports using business intelligence tools.
- Transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Interface with repair facilities, suppliers, engineering teams, and business partners to gather information and resolve warranty-related issues.
- Attend meetings to present findings, support decision-making processes, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Assist in developing and documenting warranty evaluation procedures and technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Internship, co-op, academic project, or related experience will be considered.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques.
Technical Skills
Must Have:
- Tableau experience and proficiency.
- Experience working with data visualization and reporting tools.
- Understanding of data platforms such as Power BI and/or Snowflake.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and present data effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Exposure to warranty, manufacturing, automotive, service operations, or engineering environments.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools.
- Mechanical aptitude or a demonstrated curiosity about how machinery, engines, products, or systems function.
Typical Day
The role is approximately:
- 50% Warranty Claims Administration
- Reviewing claims, documentation, and repair information.
- Verifying claim accuracy and supporting issue resolution.
- 50% Data Analysis & Problem Solving
- Analyzing warranty data and performance metrics.
- Building reports and dashboards.
- Identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborating with engineering, quality, service, and business stakeholders.
