Formal education required: 9-years’ management experience in a health care environment and fiscal management; 2-years’ years in public accounting; 3-years' experience in a health care arena, particularly managed care practices; 2+ years of experience working with a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center (FQHC); 1-2 years' experience serving on planning and policy-making committees; and 1-2 years' analytical skills and experience in managing projects.
Further formal education which is not required but which may be desirable: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) or other related experience.
Computer Skills: Accounting Software, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and web navigation skills.
