- Previous experience in health care of other related fields is preferred.
- Leadership skills such as professionalism and staff training.
- Reliability with punctuality and attendance.
- Ability to build rapport with physician, patients and staff.
- Ability to quickly learn insurance verification and patient collection procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized at all times.
- Goal-oriented and motivated to achieve and exceed goals.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment with a sense of urgency.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Previous experience with insurance verification preferred.
