Position Title: Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) Teacher – Preschool
Work Period: 2026–2027 School Year
Reports To: Superintendent and/or Building Principal(s)
Salary: $43,939 – $47,913 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
Benefits:
- 12 PTO days per year
- Employer-paid single subscriber health insurance up to the Hard Cap limits established by PA 152, or $750 cash in lieu of health insurance with proof of medical coverage

Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate
- Must meet ESSA requirements for Early Childhood Education
- Teaching experience preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate instructional practices
- Ability to establish positive relationships with preschool-aged children and their families
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with the Great Start Readiness Program curriculum and Michigan Early Childhood Standards
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Assess student progress and maintain required records and documentation
- Collaborate with families to promote student success and encourage family engagement
- Work collaboratively with administrators, support staff, and other educators
- Participate in professional development and district initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned by administration
