The HV Battery Rework Technicians will be expected to perform the following duties:
Repair High Voltage Battery packs based on engineering direction
Utilize overhead cranes and lifting devices
Load test articles into chambers
Perform Safety inspections on both dunnage as well as the batteries themselves
Complete continued training courses on new tech and safety procedures
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop best practices
Maintain lab equipment
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the battery industry
General mechanic knowledge
Ability to utilize provided tools
Basic knowledge of operating computers
Willingness to work in a team-based environment
Experience working with electrical components
Must be able to pass medical requirements: Respirator Usage
Ability to work in CAT4 HV Protection Suit
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher
Experience working with High Voltage
Strong knowledge of Battery Systems
