Quality Data Analyst - Technical Service Operations (Contract)
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Pay: Up to $34.00/hour
We are seeking a skilled Quality Data Analyst to support Technical Service Operations (TSO) by delivering data-driven insights, business intelligence reporting, and analytics solutions for warranty and aftersales programs. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in Power BI, SQL, Snowflake, SAS, data visualization, and performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
Execute complex SQL queries using Snowflake and SAS to analyze large datasets.
Perform analysis of warranty claims, repair orders, dealer performance, and aftersales operations.
Support ad hoc reporting and analytics requests from internal stakeholders and external partners.
Create and maintain documentation for data processes, reporting logic, and business workflows.
Translate complex data findings into actionable business insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting accuracy, consistency, and operational performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting.
Strong SQL skills, preferably with Snowflake experience.
Experience using SAS for data analysis and reporting.
Proficiency with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Automotive, warranty, or aftersales industry experience.
Experience with warranty claims systems, repair order data, and performance reporting.
Background working with large datasets and cross-functional business teams.
