As a Senior HR Generalist, you will play a key role in our ability to deliver what we promise to our customers.
As a Senior HR Generalist, you will drive the culture, development, and engagement of the workforce through assisting with talent management and talent acquisition activities, building and supporting a positive culture and ensuring an effective organization by:
Support the hourly employment office as a subject matter expert, assisting with workforce deployment, people power management and onboarding based on contractual obligations and corporate policies
Train, develop and guide the plant Employment staff
Assist the Talent Manager in developing a strong talent pipeline and succession plan, identifying employee development needs and leveraging internal and external resources to increase the capability of the organization
Assist the Talent Manager with workforce planning, including organizational design, recruiting strategies, hiring and onboarding process and HRMCs
Assist the Talent Manager with the performance appraisal process and development process cycle, investigations and salary bargaining unit responsibilities
Supporting the implementation and execution of our lean manufacturing methodology
Driving a positive workplace culture by supporting plant employee engagement initiatives
Lead training activities and identify best practices for read across
Key experiences and know-how:
The following prior experiences will be required for someone to be successful in this role:
Employment and/or Labor Relations experience
Collaboration with leaders regarding their training needs
Managing HBU manpower and headcount for the plant
Utilizing lean manufacturing tools in the context of employee development
Analyzing data and using data to make decisions
Experience with managing conflict and having difficult conversations

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources or related field
Proficient with Microsoft Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Human Resources or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources or related field
Experience leading others
Manufacturing experience is highly desirable
