What You'll Do
As a Superintendent, you'll serve as idX's on-site leader, managing subcontractors, schedules, safety, and quality to deliver projects on time and on budget. You'll be the primary point of contact for customers and partners in the field, ensuring a seamless execution from start to finish.
Key ResponsibilitiesField Leadership & Project Execution
Serve as the on-site leader for assigned projects, overseeing all field operations from installation through completion
Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, within scope, and to quality standards
Act as the primary point of contact between idX, customers, subcontractors, and internal teams
Schedule, Quality & Compliance
Review plans, specifications, contracts, and shop drawings to ensure full compliance with project and code requirements
Develop and manage site schedules; proactively address issues to ensure timely project completion
Establish and enforce quality standards and lead continuous improvement initiatives in the field
Safety & Site Management
Maintain a safe, organized, and clean job site at all times
Conduct routine safety audits and enforce company, federal, state, and local safety regulations
Lead safety discussions with subcontractors and ensure proper use of PPE
Coordination & Communication
Collaborate daily with Project Managers, internal departments (Sales, Design, Production, Transportation), and subcontractors to drive seamless execution
Attend preconstruction meetings, customer meetings, and internal training sessions as required
Keep management informed of progress, risks, and resolution plans
Reporting & Documentation
Complete required daily field documentation accurately and on time using company systems (Procore, ACC, Bluebeam, etc.)
Track materials on-site and forecast future material needs
Prepare project reports and required documentation as needed
Professional Representation
Represent idX professionally with customers, partners, and subcontractors at all times
Uphold company values, policies, and customer service standards while traveling and on-site
Perform additional related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills
2+ years of experience in construction field operations, installation, or site supervision
Strong working knowledge of new construction methods, including the use and installation of lumber and engineered wood products
Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing multiple activities simultaneously
Proficient with construction and business software, including Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively at all organizational levels
Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Licensing, Travel & Physical Requirements
Ability to travel nationwide 100% of the time and stay out of town for extended periods (Monday-Friday, some weekends as needed)
Valid driver's license (forklift, First-Aid, and CPR certifications required or obtainable within 60 days of hire)
Ability to safely work on active job sites, including standing/walking for extended periods, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in varying weather conditions
Commitment to maintaining safe work practices and complying with all company, federal, state, and local safety regulations

Preferred but not required experience will be considered. We encourage candidates with strong field leadership experience and a willingness to travel to apply-even if they do not meet every qualification listed.
Salary Pay Range & Total Rewards
Base salary starting at $85,000+, dependent on experience
Annual performance bonus tied to company and individual performance
Company-paid travel expenses and per diem
