Shift Structure: Full-time:
Assistant Machine Operators: These roles operate on consistent 8-hour shifts, providing a predictable daily routine for those who prefer a standard workday.
Extrusion Technicians: These specialized roles follow a 12-hour rotating 2-2-3 schedule. This model allows for a dynamic work week and the benefit of having every other weekend off!
Compensation: $18.00/hr starting rate, with $20.00/hr available for those with specific extrusion experience.
Growth: Overtime opportunities are available for those looking to increase their earnings.
Responsibilities:
- Partnering with lead operators to keep production lines running smoothly from start to finish.
- Handling, testing, packaging, and labeling finished products to ensure they meet exact specifications.
- Managing resin levels, prepping raw materials, and performing efficient roll changes.
- Completing accurate shift documentation and assisting with critical start-up and shutdown procedures.
- Maintaining a clean, organized workspace while adhering to BRC, GMP, and PPE safety protocols.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and utilize tools such as rulers, scales, and micrometers.
- Comfortable standing for 8-12-hour shifts and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- A high level of focus on quality standards and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to work effectively within a team.
- A steady work history is required. While manufacturing or quality assurance experience is preferred, we value a self-motivated attitude and an eagerness to learn. Forklift experience is a significant plus.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
