Your Role at Baxter:
The Field Service Technician I will perform functions related to product readiness for patient utilization on a wide range of rental and customer owned medical products. This is where we transform healthcare together by cleaning, disinfecting, operational function checks, and minor repairs of Baxter and non-Baxter products.
The schedule for this role is 2:00 PM-10:30 PM, with a rotating weekend oncall schedule.

Our Field Service Technician's are available for 24/7 delivery, removal, and service support for products in service centers and customer accounts.

What you'll be doing
Transport, load/unload, and install medical products across service centers, healthcare facilities, and private homes
Inspect, troubleshoot, clean, and perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
Provide oncall support as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Use electronic devices (smartphone, tablet, PC) to document and retrieve information
Educate hospital staff, caregivers, and patients on proper product use
Maintain a safe, organized work environment, including participation in 5S activities
Safely operate company vehicles ranging from cargo vans to 26,000lb trucks
Lift and carry up to 65 lbs using proper safety, ergonomic practices, and required PPE
What you'll bring
High School Diploma or GED
Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid driver's license
Obtain and maintain a DOT physical card required

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated base salary for this position is $43,200 - $59,400.The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
