Minimum Qualifications: US Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as an engineer.
Special Skill Requirements: Must have five (5) years of experience in each of the following: lab experience including routing implementation, vendor solution testing, and upgrading lab networks; Windows, MAC OS or Linux; OSI and TCP/IP networking standards; networking operations - TCP, UDP, SNMP, IPv4, VLSM, CIDR, NAT, DHCP, or DNS; Wireshark or GNS3; routing protocols OSPF or BGP; VPN Technologies - IPsec, SSL, Site-to-Site VPN, or Remote Access VPN; deploying and configuring network engineering equipment. Must have one (1) year of experience in each of the following: WLAN or Wi-Fi technologies; authentication protocols LDAP, TACACS+, or Radius; troubleshooting Wi-Fi network equipment.
