50 farmworkers are needed to work in Huron, Erie, and Richland Counties, Ohio, handling vegetable crops. Workers will plant, cultivate, and harvest vegetables using hand tools such as hoes, shovels, and knives; plant seeds, roots, and bulbs; transplant by hand; spread and remove plastic ground covering; weed and thin crops; stake, tie, trellis, and prune plants; and pick, cut, lift, and grade produce while taking care to avoid damage. Duties also include walking fields, repetitive movements, and working in bent or standing positions for long periods. Workers must be able to lift and carry up to 55 pounds and perform physically demanding labor outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity, with temperatures ranging from 40°F to over 100°F. Two months of prior agricultural experience is required. Workers may be subject to employer-paid post-hire drug or alcohol testing, and use of personal electronic devices during work hours is prohibited except for emergencies.

Housing / Vivienda:
Employer provides free housing to workers who cannot reasonably return to their residence the same day. Workers are assigned separate sleeping rooms and bathroom facilities for male and female workers. Family housing is not provided. Employers must follow current AEWR rates and apply adverse compensation adjustments for H-2A workers receiving free employer-provided housing, as required by state guidelines under the interim rule.
