The Engagement & Learning Support Specialist at Mercantile Bank plays a crucial role in collaborating with various teams to develop and deliver top-notch educational content throughout the organization. Working closely with the Engagement & Learning Director, HR professionals, and Retail trainers, this position ensures that learning materials meet the highest standards. You will assist with all logistics, including scheduling, and may assist in the delivery of E&L courses. Moreover, as a key support for vital bank-wide software programs like iSolved and SharePoint, as well as the management of platforms such as DiSC, Udemy, and BAI, the role demands exceptional attention to detail, autonomy, organizational finesse, and proficiency in software and technical skills. You are supporting all E&L initiatives including but not limited to THRIVE, engagement surveys, Supervisor Series, Fun Club and all employee-related events. What We're Looking For
To excel as an Engagement & Learning Support Specialist at Mercantile Bank, candidates must possess a diverse set of skills. Proficiency in preparing classroom materials, coordinating logistics, and supporting various training courses is essential. The ability to manage multiple training platforms like BAI, Udemy, and iSolved, while also maintaining the SharePoint site, demonstrates a high level of technical aptitude. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and communication tools like JotForm, Teams, and WebEx is crucial for effective collaboration. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are key traits for success in this role.
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be adept at logistical planning, and demonstrate the ability to handle changing environments with ease.
Requirements:
- Expert-level Microsoft skills preferably with some 365 platform experience
- Mastery of JotForm, Teams, WebEx and other common communication methods
- Expert level logistical planning skill, including maintaining complex schedules across the bank and various Engagement & Learning training programs
- Function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment
- Ability to travel throughout the Mercantile footprint
- Willingness to work before/after normal bank hours as well as occasional weekends
- A personal mobile device is required for system sign in and emergency procedures
- Organization and Attention to Detail
