Join Mercantile Bank as an Escrow Servicing Specialist I and embark on a fulfilling career in the banking industry. As part of our team in Alma, MI, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic environment that values problem solvers and customer-centricity.
Daily, you will:

• Scan and upload insurance mail received daily to electronic file.
• Prepare, input and process payments for tax and insurance bills.
• Print checks for authorized check requests, escrow refunds, and tax/insurance disbursements.
• Verify and perform escrow maintenance, escrow tracking and verification, and disbursement.
• Process monthly escrow analysis.
• Process Force Placed Insurance and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Prepare mortgage loan payoff quotes.
• Process and monitor of all insurance loss drafts.
• Research and resolve internal and external customer inquiries and disputes regarding escrow analysis, taxes and insurance, payments, and general customer concerns.
