Job Duties: Workers handle ornamental grasses, woody shrubs, evergreen and deciduous container trees, performing a wide range of manual and mechanized tasks for indoor and outdoor horticultural production. Their responsibilities include preparing soil, planting, propagating, cultivating, pruning, trimming, spacing, irrigating, fertilizing, and applying crop protectants. They remove debris and unwanted vegetation, dig and wrap trees, move plants, load and unload products, maintain irrigation systems, and install or remove plastic coverings. The job also involves mowing, weeding, ditching, shoveling, hauling, repairing fences, and assisting with general farm and building maintenance. Work is physically demanding, requiring lifting heavy items, frequent bending, prolonged standing and walking, and working in all weather conditions. Workers must follow safety rules, wear required protective gear, and operate equipment properly. They must understand and follow supervisor instructions and perform routine tasks independently. The position is classified as Skill Level II.

Housing: The employer retains possession and control of the housing premises at all times. Workers provided housing under the terms of this Clearance Order shall vacate the housing promptly upon termination of employment with the employer.

Transportation: Employer offers transportation at no cost to workers occupying Employer-provided housing to the worksite and return on a daily basis using any combination of van, truck and car depending on crop conditions and locations. Such transportation will be in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
