JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
The Process Technician is responsible for working with the Operations and Engineering teams to document and improve assembly processes including the creation of detailed instructions. They are expected to provide materials to be used as technical support and training of manufacturing personnel. They will monitor any changes to the manufacturing process and implement updates as necessary. They will adhere to all Bandit safety, quality, inventory and production guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive truck to deliver parts.
- Secure cargo for transportation using straps, chains and/or covers.
- Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secure.
- Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
- Load and unload trucks
- Read work orders/blueprints to determine parts/materials to grab.
- Drive vehicles under 26,000 pounds to transport materials to and from specified locations.
- Put parts away according to MC.
- Operate fork trucks, cranes and/or other equipment to move material.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid chauffeurs license and medical card required.
- Ability to read work orders/blueprints.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Complete Bandit’s crane and/or forklift safety training
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, pinch, grasp, and/or bend
- Requires employee to work both inside/outside in heat/cold, and/or wet/humid conditions.
- Frequently required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent injury.
- Frequently lift 50 pounds
- Occasionally lift 60 pounds
