Job Title: Weld Technician
Job Summary:
The Weld Technician is responsible for supporting day-to-day production at Bandit. This is achieved by working alongside production and engineering to troubleshoot and correct welding and robotic related issues.
They will adhere to all Bandit safety, quality, inventory and production guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support related manufacturing at all Bandit facilities.
- Work with engineering teams to develop and test new products and procedures.
- Repair and maintain welding equipment.
- Clean welding equipment.
- Conduct training programs and other activities for employees.
- Interpret welding related requirements and troubleshoot welding problems.
- Review welding procedures, processes, and documentation, update as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Robotic welding experience preferred but not required.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in related position
Physical Requirements:
- Stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, pinch, grasp, and/or bend
- Requires employee to occasionally work both inside/outside in heat/cold, and/or wet/humid conditions.
- Occasionally required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent injury.
- Occasionally lift 30 pounds
