Automotive MRO Inventory Attendant - Plant Operations Support
Advantage Technical is currently seeking an MRO Inventory Attendant to support operations at a high-volume automotive manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or SAP systems who are looking for a stable, hands-on position within a production-driven environment.
Role Summary
This position supports plant maintenance by managing non-production materials from a secured maintenance crib location. The MRO Inventory Attendant plays a key role in material accuracy, organization, and service to internal customers, ensuring maintenance teams receive the parts and tools needed to support equipment uptime and plant efficiency.
Primary Duties
Receive, store, and issue MRO and non-production materials
Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and stock accuracy check
Maintain organized crib layout and storage standards
Support maintenance technicians with part requests and material inquiries
Execute transactions using a SAP-based inventory system
Operate material handling equipment (MHE) as required
Perform additional warehouse and inventory tasks as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Strong numerical and counting skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to stand and move throughout the shift; lift up to 50 lbs
Valid driver's license
Preferred Experience
SAP inventory or ERP system experience
Automotive, manufacturing, or industrial environment background
MRO crib or warehouse experience
