Position Overview
This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and products to meet customer needs. You will work across the entire software development lifecycle, including architecture design, coding, testing, deployment, and optimization. Full-stack capabilities—covering both user interface and server-side development—are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand use cases, pain points, and requirements; advocate for user-centric solutions.
- Design, develop, and deliver software using modern tools, languages, frameworks, and agile methodologies.
- Assess requirements and determine appropriate technology stack, integration methods, and deployment strategies.
- Create high-level architecture designs outlining structure, components, and interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Designers, Architects).
- Define and implement testing strategies, guidelines, and processes aligned with organizational standards.
- Continuously improve performance, optimize applications, and adopt new technologies for efficiency.
- Apply best practices such as TDD, CI/CD, and secure coding standards.
- Develop user-friendly interfaces and maintain back-end services (APIs, microservices).
- Evaluate emerging technologies and incorporate them into solutions.
- Support security practices including encryption and anonymization.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos).
- Champion software craftsmanship and collaborative practices (Pair Programming, DevOps).

- 6+ years in IT; 4+ years in software development

- Experience with Git, bug tracking tools, peer reviews
- Large-scale project execution
- Strong documentation and writing skills
- AEM Cloud (3+ years experience)
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree
- Preferred: Additional certifications or safety training
Additional Information From Manager:
- Lead design and implementation of software and systems for Ford and Lincoln brand site products using frameworks like React, Spring Boot, and Adobe Experience Manager.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Owners to prioritize deliverables based on business and user value.
- Provide application support and manage migrations.
- Conduct proof-of-concepts for new features; ensure quality and timely delivery using Agile practices.
- Automate performance monitoring and failure notifications using best practices and tools.
- Research and implement new technologies impacting Ford application delivery.
- Use monitoring, logging, and tracing tools (e.g., Dynatrace).
