We are the behavioral health community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others.
We are seeking an additional Therapist for our Kids Crisis Stabilization Team. The clinician will provide therapy, crisis intervention and stabilization to children, teens and families. This position provides services in the community and frequent travel to schools and family homes.
This position is Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm with flexibility depending on client need. There is additional rotation coverage for holidays, weekends and on-call. This is a hybrid remote/office position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Licensed in the State of Michigan as a licensed or limited licensed master social worker, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or psychologist OR be eligible for a limited license as stated above and obtain that licensure within 30 days of hire.
• Specialized training and at least one year of experience, in evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use
• Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment and diagnosis
• Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice
• Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued
• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry skills
• Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and concisely in stressful situations
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Full Licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed master social worker, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or psychologist
• Spanish speaking
• Two years post graduate experience
