Overview:
Supports project teams using a wide range of developing professional skills. Assists in reviewing and processing travel and expense reports and reimbursement requests. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Eager to learn, highly organized and willing to contribute effectively to the team.
Responsibilities:
Reviews and vets submitted expense reports for compliance with the Travel & Expense (T&E) Policy, such as ensuring that airfare/agency fees are company paid, car rental is company paid/employee paid and that receipts and amounts are compliant and accurate
Garners and retains precise documentation for internal and external audit
Processes identified un-expensed airfare/agency fees from employee Emburse / Chrome River e-wallets
Assists with domestic and international reservations
Ensure all travel arrangements adhere to the T&E policy and company guidelines
Provides support to travelers throughout their trips
Address any travel-related issues that may arise, such as flight cancellations or delays, and find solutions
Assists Travel Manager with annual hotel Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for discounted rates for HKS offices to evaluate vendor responses that will help make vendor selection decisions
Provides firm-wide support for Emburse / Chrome River and Egencia issues
Qualifications:
Preferred bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Typically with 0+ years of experience
Experience in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook and Word
Experience in Emburse / Chrome River Expense and Egencia Travel preferred
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staff
Strong work ethic and eagerness to produce high quality, accurate results
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
Ability to hold sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and integrity
Ability to communicate and present ideas in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writing
Ability to problem solve and apply appropriate solutions
Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment, and ability to work independently and prioritize work
Ability to effectively meet deadlines at expected quality
Base Salary Range: $58k to 68k annually - Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Washington DC, New York locations only
