Position Overview
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Electrical Controls Assembly Technician to join our Alpena team. This role involves assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels and related equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels based on schematics and layout drawings
- Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Troubleshoot wiring and component issues during assembly
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Skills Needed
- Proficiency in using hand tools and electrical assembly equipment
- Ability to wire control panels accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge Required
- Understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams (or willingness to learn)
