With support, the Materials Assistant II provides "Best in Class" service to internal customers utilizing their knowledge of Delfield parts and systems. This role helps maintain the integrity of the physical inventory system and the processing and receiving of replacement parts. The Materials Assistant also prepares regular reports, participates in regular cycle-counts, and works internally with the Purchasing and Service departments to maintain and properly classify obsolete and reserve parts. Major Accountability: * Process all inbound deliveries of parts and materials for the plant floor. * Process and monitor parts orders for on time shipments. * Perform Daily/Monthly Cycle counts with a high level of accuracy * Maintain obsolete/Reserve list parts Key Tasks and Responsibilities: * Provide data for End of the Month reporting * Cross-train to cover other positions in the department * Participate in regular cycle counting activities, key in information, ensure ERP system data is accurate, and assist in correcting inaccuracies. * Utilizes a computer application or database to record activities and research product information. * Consistently operate in a manner that aligns to the Company Core Values.
