Job Summary The Assembly Technician - Temporary is responsible for hands-on assembly of prototype parts for battery pack systems. Responsibilities * Hands-on individual contributor role responsible for the successful assembly and building of products to meet customer requirements and expectations. * Assemble products to customer requirements and company goals. * Assemble highly complex mechanical and electrical components. * Report back to Lead Prototype Build Technician issues encountered to eliminate future production problems. * Perform preventive maintenance/maintenance activities to support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). * Participate when required in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and work instruction reviews. * Identify and support continuous improvements projects (e.g., cost reduction, efficiency improvements, etc.) * Support other Prototype areas as required. * Support weekend and off-shift work as required. * Support multiple facilities in other states. * Data entry into multiple platforms. * Maintain a safe and clean working environment. * Adhere to and support compliance with ergonomic guidelines. * Follow and adhere to all safety procedures and protocols. * Adhere to federal and state regulations. * Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures. * Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. * Predictable and reliable attendance. Position Qualifications * Minimum of one (1) year manufacturing or mechanical experience. * Experience in electrification assembly line/high voltage/electrical component handling/battery manufacturing preferred. * Experience with soldering preferred * Working knowledge of quality systems preferred. * Able to work in a flexible team environment. * Working knowledge in Microsoft Word/Excel/SharePoint is preferred. * Must be available to work various shift schedules; may need to work overtime.
