This role, within the corporate finance team, has high visibility to the entire Tenneco Executive Leadership Team. The ideal candidate will have consulting/advisory experience from a top-tier consulting firm or financial institution.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy development: collaborate and lead teams to develop cohesive strategies on topics such as:
Financial performance and optimization
Market growth and segmentation
Capital allocation decisions
Operational productivity, performance, cost structuring and footprint
Business analytics: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
Transaction support: work with Tenneco executive leadership and corporate development teams to conduct financial and operational analysis during M&A transactions
Performance Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve financial performance, including cost reduction and margin improvement programs.
Reporting: Develop and deliver comprehensive financial reports to senior management and Tenneco CFO
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree or MBA is preferred
Experience: At least 7 years in strategy, banking, or private equity; familiarity with industrial sector
Technical: Strong proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting
Analytical: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically and innovate
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to senior management
Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CFA or CPA are a plus
Experience: Prior experience in a similar role within the automotive or industrial sector
Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with financial analysis tools and software
