ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
We are recruiting for a Care Pathway Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical and clinical expertise, educational and field support to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient adoption of the Inspire Care Pathway. You will be able to make independent decisions in many required job aspects including but not limited to Post-Implant Care Certification, field troubleshooting and a flexible schedule with travel based from a home office. You will also be responsible for working with customers, physicians, medical providers, clinic staff and Inspire field staff to drive procedural and practice success.
OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE
Provide independent technical and clinical support during Inspire Care Pathway follow up activities for field personnel including Care Pathway Certification of customers.
Provide instruction for new Inspire employees (primarily field personnel) including Activation, Optimizing Outcomes Certification & the Inspire Care Pathway certification.
Independent assessment of employees and customers to determine certification readiness.
Provide technical and development leadership for the Inspire Care Pathway.
Provide independent follow-up with customers including procedural reviews, in-servicing as well as training and educational support as needed in collaboration with the field team.
Assist field personnel and customers in device troubleshooting, including independent decision making.
Collaborate with sales personnel/leadership on appropriate training/support for customers.
Proactively disseminate peer-reviewed scientific and clinical information to customers and assigned sales team as needed.
Stay current on relevant scientific publications and clinical evidence.
Coordinate with internal partners including but not limited to Quality, Clinical Research, Marketing, Development and Sales Training.
Develop relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and work with high-volume, high-quality customers to glean new learnings for best practices.
Drive successful adoption of the Inspire Care Pathway.
Coordinate with Medical Education to support Inspire sponsored events including but not limited to Innovation Center, Fellows Training, APP Programs, VIP visits, Dream Team and online webinars.
WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM
Required:
Bachelor's Degree or Professional Certification in Medicine, Science, Technology or Engineering
2+ years of related clinical/healthcare or medical device industry experience
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a clinical setting
Strong computer skills with MS office including PowerPoint, Excel
Problem solving/trouble shooting skills
Ability to travel 25-50% of the time which may include overnight
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Science, Technology or Engineering (example: NP or PA)
Respiratory Therapist (RT), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), Nurse (RN)
Previous experience with implantable devices or experience with sleep medicine industry
