The Accounting Manager, Sales & Marketing will be responsible for:
Reviewing and evaluating Sales & Marketing ledgers and performing month-end closing responsibilities including review of journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis
Managing domestic, international and import inventory
Handling a wide variety of special projects
Coordinating accounting services and integrating with operating needs
Providing advice and support to other areas regarding correct accounting treatment for specific transactions
Establishing and maintaining internal control procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley
Completing financial and compliance requirements for external auditors and tax
Driving continuous improvement and process initiatives throughout area of responsibility
Leading, training, and directing staff, including performance appraisals, training and development plans
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
If not Bachelor's Degree in the aforementioned, must have a Master's in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or Accounting
8 + years of experience in accounting or financial analysis
CPA required
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
