(HATCI) is currently looking for an Infotainment & System Manager at its Superior Township, MI location to perform the following duties:
Need a proven leader with good experience in Infotainment and System level testing.
Experience in design and development of Infotainment products from an OEM perspective.
Need Manager with experience in system architecture and effective root cause analysis to propel team to more self-reliance
Ability to keep team focused on key deliverables while maintaining a good team environment
This will ensure that team is targeting the vision and strategy outlined by HATCI Executive Management to take more responsibility and ownership from Namyang R&D
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Develop and support HATCI IDD Team for goals, objectives, and budget
Oversee team in vehicle design projects and meeting milestone timing for vehicle development
Create innovative technologies for research and potential implementation into HMG vehicle platforms, cost savings, and technical road maps to improve Hyundai/Kia Infotainment solutions
Oversee and manage Infotainment and system development activities in realms of Infotainment; Bluetooth, Radio, Reception, Sound, WebOS, etc
Create technical reports for presentation to executive management and Regional HQ's of Hyundai & Kia
Lead team in ability to solve complex design issues and effective root cause analysis
Knowledge of how to effectively utilize automated tool sets for efficient and effective testing of Infotainment aspects
Interface with other departments such as Infotainment Software, Electrical Design, Product Strategy, Autonomous
Experience with program management to immediately identify obstacles and resolve concerns to ensure successful project completion
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field required
Master's degree preferred
Required Skills and Knowledge
3 years of experience in Engineering Management
3 years of experience in design and release of electric related structures and components
Preferred experience in SW development
Knowledge of validation of embedded systems
Understanding of server development
Experience in executing and validation scalable, reliable, and secure SW solutions
Knowledge for In-Vehicle communication protocols
Valid drive license and satisfactory driving record
