What You’ll Be Doing

• Cleans all assigned outlet floors
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, strips, waxes, and polishes to renew floor surfaces
• Cleans and shampoos carpets
• Operates various cleaning machines (e.g., buffers, shampooers, vacuums, hall machines, extractors)
• Cleans, dusts, and waxes furniture and fixtures; shampoos upholstered furniture; washes walls; cleans glass and mirrors; removes and hangs drapes
• Empties and cleans trash receptacles and/or recycling bins
• Scrubs, cleans, and sanitizes restrooms, shower facilities, and/or food service areas and equipment; replenishes supplies
• Moves and arranges furniture and equipment; may set up rooms for functions and events
• Maintains a clean and orderly supply closet; monitors supply levels and reports supply needs to supervisor
• Assists with any special cleaning projects
• Perform related duties as assigned

What You Need for this Position

• Self motivated - no micromanagement. Be able to come in and take care of responsibilities with little to no direction. 
• 1+ Years of experience in floorcare
• Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
• Able to stoop and bend
• Occasionally able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
• Able to comply with safety and health code standards
• Able to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks
