Position Summary: The Assembly Team Leader is responsible for leading and supervising a team of Assembly operators by coordinating assembly activities, ensure adherence to quality standards and production schedules, and drive continuous improvement to optimize efficiency and productivity. This position requires strong
leadership skills, technical expertise in assembly processes, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Train, Mentor, and coach the assembly team to enhance their technical skills, job performance, and overall effectiveness.
• Monitor Assembly Processes, equipment, and product quality to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve assembly-related issues and implement process improvements.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any performance or disciplinary issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate production records, including assembly reports, quality inspection results, and inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including health and safety regulations.

Preferred Education and Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in assembly or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in assembly operations in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong technical knowledge of assembly processes, equipment, and materials, particularly in the automotive or plastics industry.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team of assembly operators.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other manufacturing applications
