The Advance Group has an excellent opportunity for Slitter Operators in Taylor! This is a steel processing company that provides pickling, slitting, and blanking service to the flat rolled steel market.
Job Duties for Slitter Operators:
- Banding and cutting steel coils
- Operate a Slitter Machine
- Train on Slitting and Pickling lines
- Maintain a safe work environment
Requirements for Slitter Operators:
- Willing to train in all departments
- Experience working in the steel industry
- Ability to multitask and work well in a physical environment
- Should be able to pass background check, drug screen and pre-employment physical
Hours for Slitter Operators:
- 3rd Shift: 11:00pm- 7:00am
- Once training is completed, employees may be asked to move to a different shift based on Production needs
- Must be available for daily overtime and overtime on the weekends
Compensation for Slitter Operators:
- $18/hr.
- Once hired in, benefit plan includes: company paid health and dental insurance, 401k after 1 year, paid vacation and holidays monthly and quarterly bonus programs!!
