In this hands-on position, you will assist in the production of anticorrosion wax tape products. The process involves pulling wax tape from a coating solution via a machine, rolling it, and packaging. Attention to detail and the ability to meet daily quotas are key.
Duties for the Production Operator:
- Operate machinery that pulls wax tape from coating solution
- Roll, cut, seal, and package product simultaneously while also running machine
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform quality checks and assist with production records
- Troubleshooting issues
- Once fully trained in this area, the expectation is that you learn additional roles
Requirements for Production Operator:
- Strong initiative and desire to grow within the company—future leaders encouraged to apply
- Team lead and basic maintenance experience is preferred
- Demonstrates reliability, accountability, and a strong sense of responsibility
- Solid basic math skills (arithmetic, percentages)
- Critical thinker with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and meet daily production quotas
- Patience, strong attention to detail, and consistency in task execution
- Able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing throughout the entire shift
- Must report to work reliably and on time
Shift for the Production Operator:
- 1st shift: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3pm
- Overtime as required
Pay for the Production Operator:
- $22/hr with potential for increases after hire
