The Executive Director of Strategic Innovation is committed to advancing GISD and its constituent districts through the adoption and utilization of AI technologies. This role involves crafting and executing a visionary strategy for AI integration, collaborating with GISD administrators and local district partners to evaluate AI needs, develop innovative solutions, and establish a progressive vision for AI in educational and operational contexts. The Executive Director will oversee the deployment of AI tools, ensuring alignment with the district's instructional, business, and operational goals. Additionally, this role involves guiding the ethical use of AI, providing professional development, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and policies.
AVAILABLE: One (1) Full-Time position available; 52 weeks
SALARY: $120,000—$150,000, based on qualifications and experience. Administrative Contract.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master’s degree in AI, information technology, or strategic leadership preferred. Bachelor's degree required (preferably with a technology or instructional technology focus).
Experience:
- Demonstrated knowledge of current and upcoming AI technologies that will shape the landscape of business and education.
- Minimum four years’ experience leading strategic technology projects or initiatives.
- Minimum of two years providing training to others on the use of technology (preferably AI tools and solutions).
