The Director of Asset Management will lead all aspects of the Roofing, Coatings, and Building Envelope Asset Management Service Offering. This position will be uniquely responsible for leading the Roofing, Coatings, and Building Envelope Division(s) in Visual Assessments, Diagnostic Analysis, Scope Development, Data Input/Final Reports, Maintenance Service Agreements, and Warranty Management.

• Coordinate & deliver visual inspections of building assets and complete Full Condition Reports.
• Gather data on current conditions & make professional recommendations for repair, Restoration, and Replacement
• Perform Comprehensive Diagnostic Surveys using both Infrared & Nuclear Technologies.
• Manage diagnostic equipment for proper care & compliance.
• Develop a fully integrated CADD department capable of delivering roof plans, diagnostic surveys, and detail drawings.
• Integrate Building Asset Software Program in Roofing, Coatings & Building Envelope.
• Generate field reports citing work performed and additional work needed.
• Review and prepare project schedules and task allocation.
• Manage & coordinate all inspections related to proactive roof maintenance agreements.
• Regularly inspect completed work to verify quality standards.
• Coordinate quality control inspectors for final approval.
• Review specifications and scope with field advisors and customers.
• Conduct all aspects of warranty compliance and management.
• Provide daily updates and a timeline of completion.
• Conduct or make demo resources available for training purposes

Required Qualifications

·      Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience

·      Knowledge of the roofing restoration industry

·      Ten (10) years+ of roofing industry experience

·      Must have strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to coordinate the required tasks of

this role.

·      Currently living within, or willing to relocate to, 25 miles of the Fenton, MI office in the next 12-18 months.

Technical Skills

·      Continuous training to stay current with industry standards and best practices

·      Computer knowledge and ability to adapt to various industry software

·      Microsoft Office Suite

·      Advanced Excel

·      Either a current Registered Roof Consultant or working to that end.

·      A NACE Certified Coatings Inspector or working to that end.
