Niles Shared Services, LLC is a privately held and financially strong industrial services company that prides itself on the safety of its workers. Niles is looking for a full-time Custodian. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across several company locations. This position requires local travel between sites and a flexible schedule to ensure each location meets our standards for cleanliness and presentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Cleaning dishes, emptying dishwashers and cleaning out refrigerators as needed.
• Clean and restock restrooms and break rooms.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Ensure mirrors and glass surfaces, including doors are clean and smudge-free.
• Spot-clean windows and carpet as needed.
• Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies; notify management when stock is low.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify areas needing special attention or maintenance.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company protocols.
• Travel between several company locations as scheduled or required.
• Assist with setting up for events including chairs, tables, etc.
• Cleaning duties may include corporate housing facilities in the future.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends if needed.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Dependable and trustworthy.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
