Job Summary
thyssenkrupp Engineered Plastics is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have worn many hats in their career and will be responsible for executing and managing a wide range of digital marketing initiatives aimed at increasing our brand presence and driving sales within the United States. This role will focus on enhancing our digital footprint, optimizing our eCommerce visibility, and leveraging marketing automation tools to engage and convert our target audience. This is not a role for someone who only writes content and hands it off. We need someone who can own and implement. The Digital Marketing Specialist will report to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and work collaboratively with a team of marketing and communication professionals, including copywriters, and a designer.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Project Management
Lead and manage external marketing projects within your area of responsibility.
Ensure the timely execution and delivery of marketing initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Support sustainability and solution selling campaigns with strategic content and digital marketing tactics.
Manage video projects, including production oversight and content direction.
eCommerce Website Management
Provide marketing support to the division eCommerce website.
Actively execute website updates and design changes using the CMS; this is a hands-on role requiring working knowledge of web layout, content formatting, some HTML, and user experience best practices.
Participate in recurring meetings to support feature ideation, content creation, and digital marketing efforts.
Maintain frequent communication with the channel manager to ensure cohesive digital strategy execution.
Content Creation and Management
Develop and manage content for various digital channels, including blogs, corporate websites, and eCommerce platforms.
Own the execution of content updates directly within the CMS, ensuring content is current, accurate, visually appropriate, and engaging.
Collaborate with designers and copywriters to create high-quality marketing materials.
SEO and Paid Search
Develop and implement search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM/SEA) strategies to increase online visibility and drive traffic to our digital properties whether on your own or through agency partnership.
Support localization strategies for reputation management and SEO.
Email Marketing and Marketing Automation
Oversee all division-specific activities within Marketo, including lead generation, email marketing, and marketing automation.
Design, build, and deploy emails and nurture campaigns directly within the platform. This role requires email platform and some HTML design experience, not just content drafting.
Manage the email marketing preference center to optimize audience engagement and segmentation.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align messaging and campaign timing while owning full execution.
Social Media
Plan and execute LinkedIn and other platform strategies tailored to B2B audiences, with a focus on measurable engagement and lead generation.
Collateral Development
Create and update line cards, print collateral, presentation templates, and email signature banners to support marketing initiatives.
Leverage internal resources such as designers and copywriters for collateral development.
Analytics and Reporting
Utilize Google Analytics (GA4) and other tools to track and report on website performance and marketing campaign effectiveness.
