PROCESS QUALITY TECHNICIAN
Plastatech Engineering has an opening for a Process Quality Technician I, in the Quality Control Department located at the Corporate Headquarters in Saginaw, Michigan.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform lot acceptance testing and release material for the manufacturing of roof panels.
Conduct daily test welds to assure the weld ability of the Duro-Last membrane.
Perform daily process audits to ensure each process is producing quality products that meet or exceed our manufacturing specifications.
Other duties / responsibilities as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Individual must have at least 2 years in a manufacturing, testing, and/or lab environment.
Technical training or degree in engineering, math or science is a plus.
Self-motivated and a team player.
Problem solving and analytical ability are needed to interpret data from process outputs.
The incumbent will need to draw conclusions and recommendations based on quality, analytical or lab scale data.
Effective interpersonal skills will be needed to communicate and report progress to JRB managers.
