Facilities Technician
Duro-Last Roofing has a full-time opening for a Facilities Technician. This position will be located at our Company Headquartersin Saginaw, Michigan.This is for first shift position. This is a great opportunity that allows for advancement and includes great benefits.
Job Responsibilities:
Carrying out repair and maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other facilities and equipment
Conducting preventative maintenance to ensure facilities and equipment are in good working order
Inspecting facilities to identify areas that require maintenance or repair work
Maintaining accurate maintenance and repair records
Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with safety protocols and procedures
Responding to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner
Communicating with facility managers and other relevant personnel to keep them informed of maintenance and repair work being carried out
All other duties assigned
Job Requirements:
At least three years of experience in facility maintenance
Specialty in at least one skilled trade desired, but not required
Knowledge with HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing
HVAC Certification highly desirable
Ability to carry out repair and maintenance tasks on facilities and equipment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience in working with safety protocols and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
