The Advance Group has partnered with a steel processing company that provides pickling, slitting, and blanking service to the flat rolled steel market. They are looking for an experienced Maintenance Worker!
Job Duties for Maintenance position would include:
- Overall Mechanical upkeep of 2 production lines, overhead cranes and auxiliary equipment including the entire building and grounds.
- Examine mechanical equipment to diagnose issues.
- Adjust functional parts of machinery as necessary.
- Keep equipment functioning properly and maintain preventative maintenance logs for each machine.
Requirements for the Maintenance worker include:
- Hydraulic, light electrical, and compressed air system knowledge recommended but can be trained.
- Welding and fabrication skills recommended as well.
- Weekend work a requirement during normal business levels to perform preventive maintenance and project work.
- UAW shop; seniority determines work schedule, contract determines pay terms.
Compensation for the Maintenance worker:
- $19.50hr
- Pay increase and great benefits once hired!
Hours for the Maintenance worker:
- Training shift to be determined
- Once trained move to 2nd shift- 3:00pm-11:00pm or 3rd shift- 11pm-7am
- Overtime will be available
