Great Opportunity for an experienced Property Manager looking for a Direct Hire position!
The Advance Group has partnered with a Property Management Group and we are looking for an experienced Property Manager to manage two locations (210 units) in Southgate, MI!
Job Duties for Property Manager:
- Conduct all business in accordance with Company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, HUD and all other laws pertaining to apartments.
- Greet prospective residents, show property and perform all leasing duties.
- Answer and handle incoming phone calls and online inquiries from prospective new residents, current residents, vendor/suppliers, corporate office, etc.
- Review and process all resident service requests, pending preventative maintenance and make-ready’s, designating to the Maintenance Techs or 3rd party vendors for prompt processing. Conduct service follow-up and documentation.
- Physically inspect property per set standards and report any service needs to maintenance staff. Will also inspect move-outs, vacancies and completed make-ready’s when completed.
- Issue appropriate notices when necessary (e.g., late payments, eviction notices, returned check memos, rule violations, etc.).
- Participation and coordination of after-hours “on-call” service.
Required Experience for Property Manager:
- Proven track record of leading a team and building rapport with others
- Minimum of 5 years experience at assistant property management level or above.
- Prior experience with Rent Manager or other similar property management software is required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Requires a valid driver’s license and must carry full insurance coverage on vehicle.
- Subject will be required to pass a drug and background screening.
Schedule for Property Manager:
- Will be required to work Monday- Friday normal office hours
- Must also be available for occasional showings after hours or on weekends
Compensation for Property Manager:
- Based on experience, around $65k a year
