Position Summary
Under the direction of Supervisor - LIS, is responsible for facilitating timely resolution of support requests, operational maintenance and improved processes of assigned information systems used in the Diagnostic Laboratories while ensuring the capabilities of the system(s) and customer satisfaction are maximized according to BCW standards.

The target salary for this position is $26.19 per hour.
The target salary is based on internal averages. Versiti sets salary ranges aligned to local markets in which the job is performed. Compensation decisions take into account internal salary averages and differentiation based on education, experience, skills, and performance. Specific salary and benefits information is shared at the time of the phone screening based on your location and qualifications.

Responsibilities
Answer DL LIS Support calls and log requests
Identifies and assess issue(s); followed by coordinating and/or participating in resolution.
Monitors progress and issue resolution while keeping users informed of status
Assists internal and external customers with data procurement, special billing, charting or reporting needs.
Ensures customer requirements are met through system analysis and escalation when needed.
In collaboration with LIS Project Specialist, acts as a liaison between Diagnostic Laboratories, Information Services (IS), and/or external clients on computer system issues, training, security and support; identifies and provides feedback on issues regarding customer needs, requirements, issues/concerns and satisfaction, etc.
Execution of change control, tracking and data analysis to support process improvement and quality initiatives
Evaluates laboratory system needs and identifies improvement opportunities.
In collaboration with LIS Project Specialist, maintains computer procedures, training materials, and other related documentation following BCW procedures.
Creates and maintains documentation matrices, data gathering and analysis.
Collaborate with LIS Project Specialist to provide, coordinate and evaluate training for laboratory staff on LIS, related systems and materials.
Works collaboratively with and provides support for LIS Project Specialists and LIS users
Maintains knowledge of laboratory processes, procedures and customers.
Facilitates collection of data on quality indicators. Analyzes data, summarizes and prepares reports relating to LIS.
Provides laboratories with troubleshooting assistance on information systems.
Assists with information system downtime procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education
Baccalaureate degree in laboratory science, information systems required
Associate's Degree + 2 years experience required
Experience
1-3 years experience performing laboratory testing required
Experience using LIS required
Experience in computer training and technical procedures preferred
Experience in implementation of processes in a regulated environment preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS), preferably Cerner Millennium, Labtest.com, (MicroSoft CRM), (and/or Smart Pilgrim CAPA) required
Ability to coordinate user requests and resolution required
Excellent organizational and decision-making skills required
Ability to work independently and manage multiple requests, priorities and responsibilities required
Demonstrates keen attention to detail required
Collaborate with LIS Project Specialist to develop and/or edit procedures, training and other documentation required
Strong interpersonal, team building and communication skills required
Skilled at problem identification, data analysis, change management and problem escalation required
Exceptional customer service skills required
Licenses and Certifications
Cerner certification (Specialist, Professional or Master) preferred
Tools and Technology
Personal computer required
