Overview of this Position:
The Document Control Technician I is responsible for managing the flow of controlled documents, including controlled document issuance, reconciliation and archival.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience with a document management system desirable.
Experience with cGMP and FDA regulations preferred.
Associate degree preferred.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Issue, maintain, and reconcile controlled documents, including logbooks, controlled copies, execution copies, controlled forms.
Coordinate archival (and retrieval, electronic searching, etc.) of GMP documents with offsite records management vendor, boxing, organizing, and shipping records at regular intervals.
Execute reports in the document management system (DMS), to ensure timely completion of document periodic reviews and reconciliation of controlled documents.
Support internal, client, and external regulatory inspections by providing documents from the MasterControl DMS, including offsite searching, electronic and physical retrieval from vendor.
