Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Education Product Manager to join our growing Global Education Services (GES) team. The role is essential in spearheading comprehensive go to market GES programs and content to ensure we are producing high quality training content that aligns with product management, business goals and meets partner, customer, and internal needs.
The ideal candidate has cross-functional leadership skills with solid product lifecycle experience. You will lead collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, Education Services, Customer Success, Consulting Services, Support, Finance, Partner Alliances, Product Marketing, Pre-Sales and other teams, breaking barriers of communication and helping the team to prioritize and position Global Education Services. You are able to articulate a clear vision and must be a standout idea generator and problem solver with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary point of contact to stakeholders and constituents for communicating and taking feedback on Global Education Services products, services, and programs (promotions, etc.). Identifies gaps/issues in stakeholder communications and remedies.
* Remain aware of all major Global Education Services (GES) programs, initiatives, products, and services and how we are messaging them. Should always have the latest information on policy changes and key Global Education Services decisions.
* Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Product Management, Engineering, Global Education Services, Customer Success, Consulting Services, Support, Finance, Partner Alliances, Product Marketing, and Pre-Sales to define and detail product training requirements aligned to education outcomes.
* Gather feedback from other sources to include in analysis and recommendations for training (i.e., historical training consumption, training revenue, course surveys, webinar surveys, Community data, and industry data from TSIA, CEdMA, IDC, and Gartner).
Analyze, prioritize, and document formal go to market (GTM) recommendations for training, addressing customer pain points and aligned to education outcomes, training approaches (e.g., OD, ILT, blogs, webinars, micro courses, podcasts, books), job roles, product specializations, and by pre- and post-implementation.
* Ability to map learning outcomes to product and customer lifecycle.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of the existing training portfolio and conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for Global Education Services.
* Provides direction for Global Education Services curriculum and content development strategies to create high-quality, engaging, relevant formal and informal content with optimal tradeoff between time to market and cost.
* Closely collaborate with the Global Education Services content development team to consult and share product knowledge, and champion solving product-to-education content priorities.
* Participate in customer calls to guide training purchase recommendations.
* Contribute to writing online community blogs and whitepapers aligned to training assets.
* Demonstrate ability to influence without authority and inspire cross-functional teams.
* Establish executive and stakeholder sponsorships, presenting Global Education Services and corporate strategy alignment to promote partnership scenarios. Build buy-in and support from stakeholders on key initiatives.
* Manage Global Education Services product development and company projects, to drive growth of company's Global Education Service offerings (e.g., unified knowledge experiences).
* Work directly with customers and SMEs to position Global Education Services and record [how to technical] sessions to develop and contribute to the expansion of informal training content (e.g., micro courses, videos, blogs, whitepapers, etc.)
* Define key performance indicators for new educational technology and learning solutions to monitor adoption, customer satisfaction and business ROI; monitor adoption and satisfaction to maximize customer success.
* Partner with Customer Success to champion consumption of Education Services and boost renewals.
* Act as a trusted partner with Partner Alliances and Customer Success, effectively communicating and building relationships and good will towards Global Education Services as a whole.
* Interview customers and partners to understand their training needs and feedback to drive Global Education Services offerings that raise PSAT/CSAT/NPS.
* Apply business intelligence, analysis, and trending & forecasting using expert insight into the market, competitors, and internal procedures to make product management recommendations for Global Education Services (e.g., content, certification, press, community) market penetration.
* Orchestrate cadence of meetings (e.g., roadmap reviews, project/program checkpoint reviews, QBRs, deep dives, team meetings) reporting on proposed initiatives, status, and KPIs.
* Drive discussions and decision making on Global Education Services GTM strategies (e.g., subscriptions, bundles, auto-attach, pricing, packaging, Authorized Training Partner (ATP) programs, academic and military programs, cost savings, etc.) detailing out the business case and financial implication for the projects. Includes articulating and soliciting ideas for overall revenue / P&L strategy and opportunities for GES leadership.
