The YMCA of Saginaw is hiring Child Watch Staff to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for young children while their parents participate in YMCA activities. This role is ideal for those who love working with kids, have patience, and want to support families in the community.
Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage with young children in the YMCA’s Child Watch program

Provide a fun and interactive environment with age-appropriate activities

Ensure child safety and security while maintaining a clean, welcoming space

Support children in social interaction, play, and early learning activities
-
Communicate with parents regarding their child’s experience and needs
Requirements:

Must be 18 years old
-
Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education preferred
-
Passion for working with young children and creating a positive environment
-
CPR, First Aid, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogens training (or willingness to obtain)

Strong communication and teamwork skills
