Job Summary

The Master Control Clerk works within the Master Control Center at the Saginaw County Jail and ensures the security of the Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office building. Key responsibilities include:

• Operating an electronic door access system.
• Monitoring and managing security through the jail's camera system and remote access door controls.
• Scheduling conference rooms for inmate visits.
• Assisting the public with inmate-related inquiries.
• Managing inmate property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must pass an employment screening process, which includes oral evaluations, physical and drug testing, and a comprehensive background investigation.
