Short & Sweet:This position provides coverage on off days for all operator positions in the Cheese Production Department.
Schedule:
12 HOUR SHIFTS
5:30 PM - 6:00 AM
2, 2, 3 rotation
24/7/365/Weekends/Holidays
Responsibilities
Perform according to Standard Operating Procedures in all positions.
Operates DMC/Pre-heat Tanks/Finesavers, Mixers, Noltec, Vats, and additional duties assigned.
Know all job functions of required positions in the Cheese Production Department.
Comply with all good housekeeping and Good Manufacturing Procedures.
Communicate effectively with co-workers, maintenance and department management.
Follow all required safety practices and procedures.
Job Requirements
Must be able to read/write and perform basic mathematical functions
Ability to effectively communicate with management and other departments verbally and in writing
Must be able to make decisions and organize tasks as necessary
The position requires continual standing, walking and climbing, lifting and the ability to work in various climates such as hot, cold and wet environments
Must be able to lift 50 lbs from floor to mid-chest (0" - 39") weekly
Must be able to lift 46 lbs from floor to shoulder (0" - 58") daily
Must be able to lift 43 lbs from knee to mid-chest (24" - 39") monthly
Must be able to lift 55 lbs at waist level (39") daily
Must be able to climb stairs continuously, inclined ladders hourly, and vertical ladders daily
Must be 18 years of age
Must be able to support 24/7/365 operation including weekends and holidays
