We are seeking one or two dedicated and skilled Yard Technicians / Forklift Operators for a unique and challenging role. You will be working in Brighton Michigan
This position involves high-low operation with a twist—you won’t be simply moving pallets or handling warehouse materials. Our high-low drivers are responsible for pulling and staging trailers, which range in size from 24 feet to 80 feet, from our yard into production bays.
Key Responsibilities:
-Operate high-lows (forklifts) to pull and maneuver trailers of various sizes and weights.
-Stage trailers accurately in production bays, ensuring timely and precise placement.
-Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, and intense sunshine.
-Collaborate with other high-low operators, providing spotting assistance to help with safe and accurate trailer positioning.
-Maintain safety and efficiency in all yard activities, adjusting for weather and workload challenges.
This role is critical to our production process and demands focus, strength, and attention to detail. Requirements
-High School Diploma or equivalent.
-3-5 years of hi-lo experience.
-Ability to use hand tools
-Valid driver’s license.
-Ability to pass any pre-employment screenings.
