Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is currently looking for a NVH CAE Engineer at our Superior Township, Michigan facility.
Responsibilities:
Ability to perform NVH virtual analysis with minimal supervision on a component and full vehicle system levels.
Where appropriate, conduct DOE studies utilizing optimization tools to meet performance requirements within the constraints of conflicting attributes such as aerodynamics and safety.
Experience with Modal transient and vibration fatigue.
Prepare NVH CAE models using CAD and material data as needed.
Effectively communicate simulation findings to internal/external team members using the appropriate post processing tools.
Meet deadlines for product development timelines, quality and cost.
Collaborate with broader engineering teams including design team, body CAE structures team, Aerodynamics team to achieve an optimal and manufacturable vehicle design per HMG standards.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
3+ years of experience with NVH CAE modeling tools and simulations.
High level of oral and written communication skills
Experienced in ANSA/BETA and HyperMesh/Altair as well as ABAQUS/Simulia, NASTRAN/MSC, and Optiostruct/Altair solvers.
Hands on programming tools such as Python or Matlab.
Valid Driver's License with satisfactory driving record

Experience Tosca optimization or any equivalent optimization tool.
5+ years of NVH CAE assessments.
