We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inside Sales Coordinator to join our National Sales team.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the sales team with coordinating quotes and orders for our Pro focused special-order business. You will also help manage our business that flows through the FDC channel. Our team is responsible for overseeing and managing Flatbed Distribution Center (FDC) sales with big box customers with a focus on servicing the Pro customer in regions supported by our operations. This position requires excellent communication skills and will work closely with a wide range of team members across operations and national sales.
The person in this role will report to the National Sales Manager and will work with them and other sales account managers within the company to oversee the execution of market strategy that complements the overall strategic operating and growth plans.
Responsibilities:
Work with regional account managers to drive sales, profitability, and growth with big box customers through the FDC and special-order sales channel
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Collaborating within the team to develop and deliver customized solutions for FDC's and other special order opportunities
Acting as a point of contact for special orders and handle customers' individual needs.
Providing insights and recommendations for solutions to better streamline how the team is servicing special orders.
Suggesting actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
Working with the team to provide category management for products stocked within customers distribution channels
Reporting on the status of accounts, transactions, orders, deliveries, etc.
Monitoring sales metrics and highlighting to the team opportunities as they develop
Participating in customer focused events where possible to increase customer knowledge and awareness of product offerings
Desired skills & experience:
Proven work experience with inside or outside sales.
Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experiences
Knowledge of MSR and MS Office
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent communication and customer service skills
An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
Business acumen with a problem solving attitude
Preferred experience and knowledge of UFP's organization, culture, and product lines
